Ogarit Car Putty
Major applications
Ogarit car putty yields highly flexible polymers.
The car putty is applied for highly filled knifing fillers,
especially for use with stoving coating systems. In
addition it is an ideal for use as the
sole binder for car repair fillers. This car putty is coldcuring,
even around 0°C.

Ogarit car putty is a versatile putty resin, intended
primarily for use of car body
fillers and putties for benzoyl peroxide cure.
dry and wet sandability and do not rapidly and so soft putty clog sanding
paper. This car putty is cold-curing, even around 0°C.
Principal properties
Ogarit car putty is ideal for use as the sole binder
in overbaking-resistant fillers. They retain their high
flexibility and too easy sanding and high adhesion at temperatures up to
170°C. In car body fillers, Metallico carputty is
applied as the flexible component in blends for soft
sanding .
Processing
This pre-accelerated Car putty cures
by the addition of benzoyl peroxide (BPO), without the
application of external heat. For a two-pot system,
Metallico Car putty can be applied as a BPO-carrier:
